Yes. Its a story based on my old pulp character Iskhei.
He was a real bastard lol. When I saw the prompt this week I instantly thought phoenix but what I had in mind was nothing like yours, I was thinking phoenix circa Grant Morrison's new Xmen.
He is. Iskhei is definetly a villain protagonist.
